operation.
1.Placeacleancontainerunderthefuellter(
Figure35).
2.Loosenthedrainplugonthebottomofthelter
canister.

4.Removetheltercanisterandcleanthemounting
surface.
5.Lubricatethegasketontheltercanisterwithclean
oil.
6.Installtheltercanisterbyhanduntilthegasket
contactsmountingsurface,thenrotateitan
additional1/2turn.
7.Tightenthedrainplugonthebottomofthelter
canister.
FuelPickupTubeScreen
Thefuelpickuptube,locatedinsidethefueltank,is
equippedwithascreentohelppreventdebrisfrom
enteringthefuelsystem.Removefuelpickuptubeand
cleanscreenasrequired.
BleedingAirfromtheInjectors
Note:Thisprocedureshouldbeusedonlyifthefuel
systemhasbeenpurgedofairthroughnormalpriming
proceduresandtheenginewillnotstart.
1.LoosenthepipeconnectiontotheNo.1injector
nozzleandholderassemblyattheinjectionpump
(Figure36).
