SmartPowerpreventsboggingdowninheavyturf
byautomaticallycontrollingthemachinespeedand
optimizingcuttingperformance.
Youcanusethebrakestoassistinturningthe
machine.However,usethemcarefully,especially
onsoftorwetgrassbecausetheturfmaybetorn
accidentally.Thebrakescanalsohelpyoutomaintain
traction.Forexample,onsomeslopes,theuphill
wheelcanslipandlosetraction.Inthissituation,
presstheuphillturnpedalgraduallyandintermittently
untiltheuphillwheelstopsslipping,thusincreasing
tractiononthedownhillwheel.
Useextracarewhenoperatingthemachineonslopes.
Makesurethattheseatlatchisproperlysecured
andthattheseatbeltisbuckled.Driveslowlyand
avoidsharpturnsonslopestopreventrollovers.For
steeringcontrol,lowerthecuttingunitswhengoing
downhill.

Thisallowstheturbochargertocooldownbefore
shuttingtheengineoff.Failuretodosomay
damagetheturbo-charger.
Beforeshuttingofftheengine,disengageallcontrols
andsettheenginespeedtoslowtoreducetheengine
speedtoslowreduceshighenginespeed(rpm),
noise,andvibration.TurnthekeytotheOFFposition
toshutofftheengine.
Operatingthe
Engine-CoolingFan
Theenginecoolingfanisnormallycontrolledbythe
machine.Themachinehastheabilitytoreverse
thefantoblowdebrisofftherearscreen.Under
normaloperatingconditions,themachinecontrols
thefanspeedanddirectionbasedoncoolantand
hydraulic-uidtemperature,andthefanautomatically
reversesdirectiontoblowdebrisofftherearscreen.
Areversecycleisautomaticallyinitiatedwheneither
thecoolantorhydraulic-uidtemperaturereachesa
specictemperature.
Youcanmanuallyreversethefanbypressingthe2
outerbuttonsoftheInfoCenterfor2seconds—thefan
completesamanuallyinitiatedreversecycle.Reverse
thefanwhentherearscreeniscloggedorpriorto
movingthemachineintotheshoporastoragearea.
