WhenthehoppertiltleverismovedtotheTILTposition,hydraulicuidowis
directedtothehoppertiltcylinders.Thehydraulicpressureextendsthecylinders
andtiltsthehopper.Whenthetiltcylindersreachtheendoftheirstroke,the
reliefvalveinthesteeringcontrolvalveopensanddirectsthehydraulicowto
thepumpuntilthetiltleverisreturnedtotheneutralposition.
Thedeckcleaningbladeiscontrolledbythedeckcleaningcylinder.Thepurpose
ofthebladeistoswipeacrosstheopeningofthegrasschutewhenthehopperis
tilted.Thisaidsinkeepingthechuteclearofgrasscuttingsandotherdebris.
WhenthehoppertiltleverismovedtotheTILTposition,hydraulicuidowis
alsodirectedtothecuttingdeckcleaningcylinder.Pressureintherodsideof
thecylindercausesthepistontoretractthedeckcleaningcylinderandoperate
thebladeassemblysimultaneously.
