Toinstallthecarburetorheaterbox,reversethesteps
giveninRemovingtheCarburetorHeaterBox.Remove
thefastenersfromtheirholesbeforeinstallingthe
carburetorheaterbox.
FillingtheFuelTank
Gasolineisextremelyammableandexplosive.
Areorexplosionfromgasolinecanburnyou
andothers.
Topreventastaticchargefromigniting
thegasoline,placethecontainerand/or
snowthroweronthegroundbeforelling,
notinavehicleoronanobject.
Fillthetankoutdoorswhentheengineis
cold.Wipeupspills.
Donothandlegasolinewhensmokingor
aroundanopenameorsparks.
Storegasolineinanapprovedfuelcontainer,
outofthereachofchildren.
Fillthefueltankwithfreshunleadedregulargasoline
fromamajorname-brandservicestation.
Important:Toreducestartingproblems,add
fuelstabilizertothefuelallseason,mixingitwith
gasolinelessthan30daysold.
Do not add oil to
the gasoline.
1.Cleanaroundthefueltankcap(Figure12).
2.Removethefueltankcap.
3.Fillthefueltankwithunleadedgasolinetowithin
1/4to1/2(6to13mm)fromthetopofthetank.
Donotllintothellerneck.
Important:Donotllthefueltankmore
than1/4inch(6mm)fromthetopofthetank
becausethegasolinemusthaveroomtoexpand.
4.Installthefueltankcapandwipeupanyspilled
gasoline.
