correct.
•Iftheoilistoohigh,draintheexcessoiluntilthe
oilleveliscorrect.Todraintheexcessoil,referto
ChangingtheOil(page19).
Important:Iftheoillevelistoolowortoohigh
andyouruntheengine,youmaydamagethe
engine.
11.Closethehood.
ServicingtheAirCleaner
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Cleanandcheck

Every50hours—Replacetheair-cleanerpaper
element.
Note:Servicetheaircleanermorefrequentlyiftheoperating
conditionsareextremelydustyorsandy.
RemovingtheFoamandPaper
Elements
1.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
2.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removethekeybeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Openthehood.
4.Cleanaroundtheaircleanertopreventdirtfrom
gettingintotheengineandcausingdamage.
5.Removetheair-cleanercoverbyunscrewingthe2
knobs(Figure22).
