balancer(Figure34).Ifthebladestaysinahorizontal
position,thebladeisbalancedandcanbeused.Ifthe
bladeisnotbalanced,lesomemetaloffoftheback
sideoftheblade.Repeatthisstepuntilthebladeis
balanced.

1.Installeachblade,bladeretainer,curvedwasher
(cuppedsidetowardblade),andthebladebolt
(Figure32).
Important:Thecurvedpartoftheblademustbe
pointingtowardtheinsideofthemowertoensure
propercutting.
2.Tightenthebladeboltto45to60ft-lb(61to81N-m).
RemovingtheMower
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Movetheheight-of-cutlevertothelowestposition.
5.Removethemowerbeltfromtheelectric-clutchpulley
(
