Checktoensurethatparkingbrakeisadjusted
properly.Thisproceduremustbefollowedafterthe
rst100hoursorwhenabrakecomponenthasbeen
removedorreplaced.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineupandsupport
themachinewithjackstands.
4.Removethereartiresfromthemachine.
5.Removeanydebrisfromthebrakearea.
6.Releasethedrivewheels;refertoUsingthe
Drive-Wheel-ReleaseValves(page31).
7.Disengagetheparkingbrake.
8.Removethespringclevispinfromtherear
linkageandcaliper(Figure73).

15.Rotatethedrivewheelreleasehandleto
theoperatingposition;refertoUsingthe
Drive-Wheel-ReleaseValves(page31).
16.Installthereartiresandtorquethelugnutsto
129N∙m(95ft-lb).
17.Removethejackstands.
