34).Slidetherubbercoveroverthebatterypost.
4.Usingtheboltandwingnut,connectthe
negative(black)cabletothenegative(–)battery
post(Figure34).Slidetherubbercoveroverthe
batterypost.

1.Tiptheseatforwardtoseethebattery.
2.Lookatthesideofthebattery.Theelectrolyte

1.Cleanthetopofthebatterywithapapertowel.
2.Removethellercaps(Figure35).
3.Slowlypourdistilledwaterintoeachbatterycell
untilthelevelisuptothelowerpartofthetube
(Figure35).
Important:Donotoverllthebattery.
Electrolyte(sulfuricacid)canseverely
corrodeanddamagethechassis.
