RemovingtheDischargeCoverfor
theSideDischarge
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceand
disengagetheblade-controlswitch.
2.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtoPARK
position,shutofftheengine,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbefore
leavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Removethe2boltsandnutsthatsecurethe
dischargecovertothemower(Figure23).

beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Removethecutoffbafefromthemowerdeck
(Figure24).
4.Liftthegrassdeectorandslidethetabsontop
ofthedischargecoverunderthegrassdeector
retainingrod.
5.Rotatethedischargecoverdownoverthe
opening,andontothelowerlipofthemower
(Figure25).
