EachHydraulicSystemOilCapacity:1.5L(52oz)per
sidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthehydraulicoil
level.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theneutral-lockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Allowtheengineandthehydraulicsystemtocoolfor
10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickwillbeincorrect
whentheoilischeckedandtheunitishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofhydraulic-system
reservoirs(Figure85).
7.Removeonedipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure85).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickintothe
reservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure85).
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulicunits
withoilasdamagemayoccur.Donotrunthe
machinewiththeoilbelowtheaddmark.
10.Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowlypouronly
enoughoilintothehydraulicreservoirtoraisethelevel
tothefullorHline.
11.Installthedipstick.
12.Repeattheprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesureallhydraulic-oilhosesandlines
areingoodcondition,andallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretothehydraulicsystem.
