electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingthesparkplug.
Useasparkplugwrenchforremovingandinstalling
thesparkplug(s)andagappingtool/feelergaugeto
checkandadjusttheairgap.Installanewsparkplug(s)
ifnecessary.
Note:Therearedifferentsparkplugsforthe23hp,
27hp,29hp,and34hpengines.Ensurethecorrectspark
plugisused.

RemovingtheSparkPlug
1.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrollevers
totheneutrallockedpositionandsettheparking
brake.
3.Removethelefthandhydraulicunitshroudinthe
orderlistedwith
Figure51.Thisgivesyouaccess
tothefrontsparkplug.
