1.Toholdtherollershaft(5)stationarywhileremovingthebearinglocknut(1),
installa3/8-24UNF2Bscrewwithajamnutintothethreadedendofthe
rollershaft(5)andtightenthejamnutagainsttherollershaft.Removethe
bearinglocknuts(1).
2.Carefullyinspecttheseatingsurfaceandthreadsofthebearinglocknuts(1)
andreplacethemifdamaged.
3.Looselysecuretherollerassembly(4)inabenchviseandlightlytaponthe
rollershaft(5)toremovethesealingwashers(2)andbearings(3).Discard
thesealingwashers(2).
4.Cleanandcarefullyremoveanycorrosionfromthebearingcavitiesofthe
roller.
