Removal (Fig. 47)
Note: Note position of hydraulic hoses when remov-
ing from the rotary motors. Proper positioning is critical
when reconnecting hydraulic hoses. The inlet to the mo-
tor is opposite from the relief valve (Fig. 48).
1. Remove two cap screws that secure hydraulic motor
to the cutting unit (Fig. 48). Remove hydraulic motor
from deck and o--ring from top of spindle housing.
2. Remove hydraulic hoses from rotary motors using
Figure 47 as a guide.
3. If hydraulic fittings are to be removed from motor,
mark fitting orientation to allow correct assembly.
Installation (Fig. 47)
1. If hydraulic fittings were removed from motor, install
fittings to motor using marks made during the removal
process to properly orientate fittings.
2. Position o--ring to top of spindle housing. Install hy-
draulic motor to the cutting unit with two cap screws.
3. Install hydraulic hoses to rotary motors using Figure
47 as a guide.
4. Make sure hydraulic tank is full. Add correct oil if nec-
essary (see Check Hydraulic System Fluid).
