Why is the display blank on my Toro LDC-11 Controller?
    • A
      afischerAug 9, 2025
A blank display on your Toro Controller can occur for several reasons: * The controller isn't connected to mains power, and there's no working 9V battery installed. Ensure the controller is plugged into a working power outlet and switched on. Also, install a fresh 9V battery. * The controller fuse has blown, and there's no working 9V battery installed. Replace the fuse under the terminal cover and ensure a 9V battery is correctly fitted. * The LCD screen has overheated. The screen may go blank if the internal temperature exceeds 50°C. Relocate the unit to a cooler environment if this is a recurring issue.

If the fuse in your Toro Controller blows repeatedly, it indicates a short circuit. Check the wiring to the solenoid valves and inspect the solenoid valves themselves for any signs of a short circuit.

Your Toro Controller program might restart after a watering cycle completes due to: * Overlapping watering programs. To resolve this, reduce the station times or adjust/remove program start times to prevent overlap. * Water budget setting exceeding 100%. Review and adjust the water budget setting accordingly.
