Mower Deck Spindle Installation
2. Turn the spindle housing over and install the spacer
into the housing (Fig. 244).
1. Tap a bearing into the blade end of the housing until
it seats (Fig. 243).
3. Tap the second bearing into the pulley side of the
spindle housing until it seats (Fig. 245).

4. With the bearing shield and spacer installed on the
spindle shaft, install the spindle shaft into the spindle
housing (Fig. 246).
