1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
blade-controlswitch(PTO).
2.Movethemotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,settheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Cleanaroundtheair-cleanercovertopreventdirtfrom
gettingintotheengineandcausingdamageandlift
thecoverandremovethehoseclampsecuringtheair
cleanerassemblytotheengine(Figure42).
4.Loosenthehoseclampandremovethepaperelement
(Figure42).
