MaintenanceandStorage
•Keepallnuts,boltsandscrewstighttobesurethe
equipmentisinsafeworkingcondition.
•Neverstoretheequipmentwithfuelinthetankinsidea
buildingwherefumescanreachanopenameorspark.
•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringinanyenclosure.
•Toreducetherehazard,keeptheengine,silencer,
batterycompartmentandfuelstorageareafreeofgrass,
leaves,orexcessivegrease.
•Checkthegrasscatcherfrequentlyforwearor

SlopeOperation

•Donotmowslopeswhengrassiswet.Slippery
conditionsreducetractionandcouldcauseslidingand
lossofcontrol.
•Donotmakesuddenturnsorrapidspeedchanges.
•Useawalkbehindmowerand/orahandtrimmernear
drop-offs,ditches,steepbanks,orwater.
•Reducespeedanduseextremecautiononslopes.
•Removeormarkobstaclessuchasrocks,treelimbs,etc.
frommowingarea.Tallgrasscanhideobstacles.
•Watchforditches,holes,rocksdips,andrisesthatchange
theoperatingangle,asroughterraincouldoverturnthe
machine.
•Avoidsuddenstartswhenmowinguphillbecausethe
mowermaytipbackwards.
