leversothatyoucannotpushitforward.Thishelps
toensurethatnooneaccidentallylowerstheboom
duringmaintenance.Securetheboomwiththelock
anytimeyouneedtostopthemachinewiththeboom
raised.
Tosetthelock,liftuponitsoitclearstheholeinthe
controlpanelandswingittotherightinfrontofthe
boomelevationlever,pushingitdownintothelocked
position(Figure12).

Todigwiththetrencher,rotatetheleverrearwardand
pullitdowntothereferencebar(Figure13,number1).
Toreversethetrencherhead,rotatethelever
rearward,thenmoveitleftintotheupperslot(Figure
13,number2).
Ifyoureleasethelever,itwillautomaticallyreturnto
theneutralposition(Figure13,number3),stopping
thechain.
