1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheboom.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Turnthefuel-shutoffvalvetotheclosedposition
(Figure45).
4.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclamponthe
enginesideofthevalvetogetherandslideitup
thefuellineawayfromthevalve(Figure45).
5.Pullthefuellineoffthevalve(Figure45).
6.Openthefuel-shutoffvalveandallowthefuelto
drainintoafuelcanordrainpan.
Note:Ifdesired,youcanreplacethefuellter
atthistime;refertoReplacingtheFuelFilter
(page34).
7.Installthefuellineontothefuel-shutoffvalve.
Slidethehoseclampclosetothevalvetosecure
thefuelline.
8.Wipeupanyspilledfuel.
ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every200hours
Neverinstalladirtylterifitisremovedfromthefuel
line.
Note:Notehowthefuellterisinstalledinorderto
installthenewltercorrectly.
