Thefactoryadjuststhecontrolsbeforeshippingthe
machine.However,aftermanyhoursofuse,you
mayneedtoadjustthetractioncontrolalignment,
theNEUTRALpositionofthetractioncontrol,andthe
trackingofthetractioncontrolinthefullforward
position.
Important:Toadjustthecontrolsproperly,
completeeachprocedureintheorderlisted.
AdjustingtheTractionControl
Alignment
Ifthetractioncontrolbardoesnotrestushand
squarewiththereferencebarwheninthefull
backwardposition,immediatelycompletethefollowing
procedure:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Pullstraightbackonthetractioncontrolsothe
frontofthecontrolcontactsthereferencebar
(Figure55).

NeutralPosition
Ifthemachinecreepsforwardorbackwardwhen
thetractioncontrolisintheNEUTRALpositionand
theunitiswarm,immediatelycompletethefollowing
procedure:
1.Lift/supportthemachinesothatbothtracksare
offtheground.
2.Opentherear-accesscover.
3.Loosenthejamnutsonthetractionrods,under
thecontrolpanel(Figure58).
