2. Set a diskette’s write-protect tab to the write enable position and insert the
diskette in the drive.
NOTE: All data on the diskette will be destroyed.
3. Turn on the computer’s power.
Password= will be displayed on the Sub-LCD.
4. Enter the password.
5. Press the Tab key.
Insert FD Ready (Y/N) will be displayed on the Sub-LCD.
6. Press Y.
Remove FD press key will be displayed on the Sub-LCD.
7. Press any key.
Boot Priority
NOTE: This feature can also be set with the Windows Hardware Setup
utility. Refer to your Windows documentation for details.
Boot Priority Options
This option sets the priority for booting the computer. Select from the following
settings:
HDD
FDD
CD-ROM
LAN The computer looks for bootable files in
the following order: HDD, diskette drive,
CD-ROM* and LAN. (Default)
FDD
HDD
CD-ROM
LAN The computer looks for bootable files in
the following order: diskette drive, HDD,
CD-ROM* and LAN.
FDD
CD-ROM
LAN
HDD The computer looks for bootable files in
the following order: diskette drive, CD-
ROM*, LAN and HDD.
HDD
CD-ROM
LAN
FDD The computer looks for bootable files in
the following order: HDD, CD-ROM*,
LAN and diskette drive.

HDD The computer looks for bootable files in
the following order: CD-ROM*, LAN,
