For reading, this drive supports the same formats as the
DVD-ROM drive.

Display
The computer’s LCD panel supports high-resolution video graphics. The screen can
be set at a wide range of viewing angles for maximum comfort and readability.
Built-in 15.0" TFT screen, 16 M colors, with one of the following
resolutions:
• 1024 horizontal and 768 vertical pixels
• 1600 horizontal and 1200 vertical pixels
Graphics controller A 128-bit graphics controller maximizes display perfor-
mance. Refer to Appendix B for more information.
Keyboard
Built-in 85 keys or 86 keys, compatible with IBM enhanced
keyboard, embedded numeric overlay, dedicated cursor
control, and keys. See Chapter 5, The Keyboard,
for details.
Touch pad
Built-in A touch pad and control buttons in the palm rest enable
control of the on-screen pointer and scrolling of windows.
Ports
External monitor 15-pin, analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B
compatible functions.
Universal Serial Bus The computer has three Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports.
You can attach a number of USB-equipped devices to each
USB port in a chain connection.
i.LINK™ (IEEE1394) This port enables high-speed data transfer directly from
external devices such as digital video cameras.
