(3) If smudges (toner scattering) are not eliminated after the adjustment in procedure (1), enter adjustment mode
[05]. Decrease the values for codes [8076 to 8078], [8080 to 8088] or [1092 to 1096] to reduce the amount
of toner used.
Adjust the value for [05] code corresponding to the print option to be applied (Paper type, Image quality
type, Halftone, and PDL).
* Printing on Macintosh is performed in PostScript. (See the "PS3" row in the table below.)
