Using Meta Scan Templates
With the meta scan feature, you can attach meta data (XML files) to your scans and e-mail them and/or store them in the
equipment’s shared folder. When using the feature, you need to use a template created for meta scan.
y Meta Scan Enabler GS-1010 (optional) is required to enable the meta scan feature.
y Before scanning, you may need to enter various types of information depending on the template used.

Using meta scan templates

Place the original(s).
For help, refer to the Copying Guide.

On the touch panel, press [TEMPLATE] to display the TEMPLATE menu.

Press [META SCAN] to display the tab.
