Installing the ExpressCard slot
To install the ExpressCard slot, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-14.
1. Set the ExpressCard slot to the base assembly and secure it with the following
screws.
• M2×4C S-THIN HEAD screw ×2
• M2×3B S-THIN HEAD screw ×2
NOTE: When replacing the ExpressCard slot with a new one, stick the EXP Card
insulator to the ExpressCard slot in place.
When replacing the base assembly with a new one, stick the cushion to the base
assembly in place.
2. Stick the ExpressCard FPC to the base assembly (D-stick tape).
NOTE: Stick the ExpressCard FPC to the base assembly as shown in the figure below.
