4.9 Top Cover assembly
Removing the Top cover assembly
Top assembly will be removed during the disassembly of the display, so please see the
procedure of it. (See figure 4-9-1 to 4-9-4)
1. Remove battery, HDD door, ODD and HDD.
2. Remove the following screws securing base and top. (see figure 4-9-1)
M2.5. x 6.5B BIND screw x11
M2. x 3.0B BIND screw x3
M2.5. x 3.0B BIND screw x1

3. Remove the KB (see 4.6) and remove the following screws securing the top.
4. Disconnect the speaker cable, power FFC, button FFC and LCD cable following the
direction of arrows.( Figure 4-9-2)
