4.10 Touch pad
Removing the touch pad
The following describes the procedure for removing the touch pad (See Figure 4-10-1 to 4-
10-2).
1. Peel off the protect Mylar and disconnect the button FFC from the connector on the
touch pad. (Figure 4-10-1)
2. Remove the following screws securing the button bracket.

3. Remove the following screws securing the button board.

4. Remove the bracket from the top cover assembly following the arrows. (Figure 4-10-
2)
5. Peel off the touch pad from the top assembly.
