Test the Display on Large LCD Telephones (DKT3014-SDL only)
1. Press ++++ROG (simultaneously).
2. Press
3DJH.
3. Press
. LCD screen is blank.
4. Press
. Each segment shows three vertical lines, in all eight rows.
5. Press
. Each segment contains five short horizontal lines, in all eight rows.
6. Press
. Each segment contains a pattern of small dots, in all eight rows.
7. Press
. All of the available characters, including numbers, display.
8. Go off-hook, then on-hook to exit the program mode.
Reset and Adjust the LCD Contrast
Step 1: Adjust LCD Contrast for the LCD Telephones
1. Press and hold down the 0LF button, and press and release 9RO ▲ or 9RO ▼ repeatedly.
Each time you press
9RO ▲ or 9RO ▼ , the contrast increases or decreases. There are eight steps
in either direction. To return to the middle setting, repeat “Step 1” above.
2. Press
+ROG to reset the LCD contrast.
3. Go off-hook, then on-hook to exit the program mode.
Step 2: Reset LCD Contrast for the DKT3014-SDL
1. Press ++++ROG (simultaneously).
2. Press
0RGH.
3. Press
0VJ so that the 0VJ LED is On.
4. Press
+ROG. This sets the LCD lightness/darkness contrast on the middle setting.
5. Go off-hook, then on-hook to exit the program mode.
Country Settings On/Off
This procedure enables you to change the country settings for telephone CODEC operation in
various countries, see Table 8-7.
1. Press
++++ROG (simultaneously).
2. Press

3. Press Feature Buttons 1~4 (FB1~FB4) On/Off according to the Table below
...or, for the DKT3001, pressing
~ and toggle the 0VJ LED On/Off (see following)
press
(0VJ LED Off means that FB1 is Off)
press
(0VJ LED Off means that FB2 is Off)
press
(0VJ LED Off means that FB3 is Off)
press
(0VJ LED Off means that FB4 is Off)
4. Press
+ROG to set the option.
5. Go off-hook, then on-hook to exit the program mode.
