Network Configuration/Constraints
Concepts of Network Configuration
The 100M Ethernet Control LAN basically complies with the IEEE802.3u specification. You must
construct your network around a hub (line concentrator) as in Figure 3.6, according to the IEEE802.3u
specification. Any station must not go through more than one paths.
If the transmission distance is long, or the transmission line is between separate buildings or panels, use
optical fiber cables for connection.
