Chapter 3 Connection
3.1 Ethernet Ports
The Switch has 24 10/100Mbps and 4 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiating,
auto MDI/MDIX Ethernet ports, which can be directly connected to the network
devices by RJ45 cable as the following figure shown.

3.2 SFP Ports
The Switch features two SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver slots
that are shared with two associated 1000Base-T RJ45 ports. If an SFP
transceiver (purchased separately) is installed in a slot and has a valid link on
the port, the associated RJ45 port will be disabled and cannot be used.
Note:
TL-SL5428E supports 100/1000Base-FX SFP module at full-duplex mode.
