Setting Up Wireless Battery Monitoring
A multistate input point called Wireless Sensor Battery Level is automatically set up for many types of
controllers. This point will auto-install into the SC so that alarming is set up. However, if you have UC600
or field installed unit controllers you will be required to manually set up this point using Tracer TU, and
then install the point in SC. Below are the steps to manually set up the Wireless Sensor Battery Level
alarming in the unit controller. Additional steps not shown here may be needed to activate the alarming
in SC.
1. Go to Multistate Input tab. Click on Create.
2. Name the new point “Wireless Sensor Battery Level”. (This will auto fill)
3. Insure the Add to SC Temp checkbox is checked.
