5. Level the unit for proper coil drainage and condensate
removal from the drain pan.
6. Connect the ductwork to the unit.
Vertical Unit (Model BCVE) Installation
Materials needed:
• #10 screws to fasten vertical fan section to coil section.
• Eight #10 screws to fasten leg to unit, 32 per unit.
• Four 1/4"-20 screws per leg, 16 per unit.
1. Remove outer lugs on bottom of vertical fan section.
Install field supplied gasket around opening on coil
section and fasten to the bottom of the fan section with
#10 screws. (See Figure 33, p. 44).
2. Install vertical units on the floor. Units are provided with
legs that are field-installed to help accommodate a P-
trap on the drain connection, if necessary.
3. For leg installation, remove the four outer lugs on the
bottom of the coil section and fasten the legs to the
bottom of the unit with #10 screws. (See Figure 34, p.
45).
4. Secure the legs to the floor with 1/4" 20 grade screws.
(See Figure 35, p. 45).
