Replacing the side guide
The side guide must be removed for certain maintenance and repair work,
but not replaced. When replacing, have the new side guide ready for use as
per the spare parts list.
Sheet-metal side guide
Requirements:
Machine has been taken out of operation.
Machine has been secured so that it cannot be switched on inadvert-
ently.
The bottom cover has been removed.
Disassemble the
side guide
Increased risk of accident due to:
Falling or slipping loads.
Observe the permissible lifting load of the hoists.
Secure the load properly.
Complete the following steps:
1. Remove the joining elements (1).
2. Remove the side guide with the support.
3. Place the side guide on an appropriate surface.
Side guide has been removed.
