Maintenance and repair
Tensioning/adjusting the conveyor belt
71
2. Undo counter nuts (1) on both sides.
3. Only for Ø 100: Loosen counter nut (4) for the snub roller on both sides.
4. Tension and adjust the belt by turning the tensioning screws (2).
The belt will have a delayed response to the adjustment. Therefore, only
adjust the tensioning screws slightly. Wait until the belt completes
several rotations before adjusting again.
? When tensioning, the belt may only be stretched by 0.2 %.
Mark the belt with tape or a thin marker to check the stretching of the
belt.
5. Switch on the machine.
6. Check that the belt is running correctly.
7. Repeat steps 2 to 5 until the belt is running correctly.
8. For Ø 100: Only adjust the snub roller (3) if necessary.
9. Tighten all counter nuts.
The conveyor belt has been tensioned/adjusted with terminal drive.
