  If the red “LOW” battery indicator light is flashing on your Tripp Lite Battery Charger with the Operating Mode Switch in the “AUTO/REMOTE” position, it could be due to low battery voltage, causing the unit to shut down to protect the battery. If AC power is present, the unit will automatically reset and start recharging. If you're using an external charger, manually reset the unit by moving the Operating Mode Switch to “DC OFF” for two seconds, then back to “AUTO/REMOTE.” Another cause might be a false reading from undersized or poorly connected DC cabling.
