Why won't my Troy-Bilt Snow Blower engine start?
- PPatrick AndersonAug 18, 2025
If your Troy-Bilt Snow Blower's engine won't start, there are several potential causes: * The fuel tank might be empty or the fuel stale. In this case, fill the tank with fresh, clean gasoline. * The fuel line could be blocked. Try cleaning the fuel line. * The key may not be fully inserted. Ensure the key is inserted all the way. * The spark plug wire might be disconnected. Connect the wire to the spark plug. * The spark plug could be faulty. Clean, readjust the gap, or replace the spark plug. * The engine may not be primed. Prime the engine five to seven times. * The engine might be flooded from excessive priming. Wait at least ten minutes before attempting to start it. * The throttle may be in the off position. Move the throttle to the fast or “rabbit” position.
