2.4 HANDSET BATTERY REPLACEMENT
To replace the handset battery the first step
is to remove the small cross head screw on
the back of the handset. When the small
cross head screw is removed the battery box
cover can be taken off providing access to
the battery. The battery can then be removed
from its connections and a new battery can
be installed and the cover replaced. The
battery required is a 9-volt DDC MN1604A or
6LR61.
 The use of rechargeable batteries is not
recommended
2.5 ENGAGEMENT OF THE ROLLERS ONTO THE TIRES
 If the actuators have been started by accident and need to be stopped immediately then
press either of the ‘On’ buttons (D or F), see Emergency Switch Off - See Section 1 Paragraph
1.2.
With both the Powrtouch isolation switch and handset switched on then: -
1. Press and hold the ‘Function’ button (E)
2. Press the ‘Roller Engagement’ button (K) and then immediately release BOTH the E
and K buttons
3. The green LEDs in the indicator window will scroll to the right. All 4 green LEDs will
then flash as the mover is finalising its engagement cycle.
