Adjusting Control Cables
IMPORTANT
It may be necessary to reset the cables when assembling the machine; and after the rst few hours of operation.
Free movement of the lever should be about 1/3 of the lever’s total movement. For the remaining 2/3 there should be a
denite resistance.
Loosen the top nut with a 10 mm wrench (about one turn). Tighten by turning the lower nut.
Check the adjustment. Press the lever down; measure the dis-
tance between the lever and the handlebar when you begin to feel
resistance. The distance should be 4 inches (10 cm).
