Unpacking and Setting
up the CPC
Use the information in this chapter to unpack the Condensation Particle
Counter and set it up.
Unpac k i n g
Carefully unpack the CPC. Refer to the packing list in the Quick Start
Guide to verify that all items in the packing list are present. Contact TSI if
items are missing or broken.
Retain the packaging for use when shipping the instrument; use of other
packaging for shipment may result in damage to the instrument.
Setting up t h e CPC
Setting up the CPC requires the following procedures:
Remove Protective Caps
Remove all protective caps that are in place for shipping. Save these caps
along with the packing material so they can be used when shipping the
CPC.
Mounting the Bracket and Fill Bottle
Mount the fill bottle bracket on the protruding pins as shown below and add
the fill bottle. Plug the connector from the butanol bottle into the fill fitting on
the back.
