continuous, live-time coincidence correction to improve counting accuracy
at high particle concentrations. Coincidence occurs when the presence of
one particle obscures the presence of another particle creating an
undercounting error.

Flow System

The CPC relies on an external (user supplied) high-vacuum pump to
maintain constant flows through a critical orifice inside the CPC. The flow
rate through the sensor is always 1.0 L/min. More information on
instrument flow is provided below.
