makes it easy to perform the calibration test.. You can keep the trays in place also during seeding. Always
remember, however, to empty the trays from dust, etc, before performing the calibration test.
When you have completed the calibration test, pull the calibration test trays out and weigh the seeds and
fertilizer in them.
NOTE! Remember to pull the tube racks back in front after the calibration test. After that the
seeds and fertilizers will be conveyed to coulters again instead of calibration test trays.
FIGURE 16. Emptying the calibration test tray
Calibration test simultaneously for fertilizer and seed
Turn the lever a few rounds to properly fill the feeding chambers. After this, empty the calibration test trays
carefully.
Turn the ground wheel for as many rounds as is specified for your machine type in the seeding table. The
rotation speed must correspond to the driving speed.
Weigh the seed and fertilizer in the seeding troughs. If the calibration test was performed with a number of
rounds that corresponds to one are, you can obtain the seeding dosage per hectare by multiplying the
weighed results by 100.
When you have performed the calibration test, retract the tube rack to the seeding position and lock the
handle lock in its place.
Put the calibration test equipment back to its place underneath the protective case.
Put the rotating apparatus of the ground wheel back in place and close the protective covers.
Using the calibration test equipment on the fertilizer side
The test is performed as described above, but you must detach the pin of the power transmission cassette
during the calibration test. Put the emptying coil in the calibration test tray underneath the fertilizer chambers.
