Row markers
If the machine is equipped with row markers, the seeder fertilizer must be connected to the tractor’s dual
action hydraulic valve. The markers are connected parallel to the machine’s lifting and lowering circuits.
The seeder fertilizer per se works with single function hydraulics, but the marker requires double function
operation. The beam will not descend unless hydraulically pushed down.
The marker control is implemented so that the machine must first be in the upper position in order to
enable lifting the beam. NOTE! If your machine is equipped with a computer, such as
AgromasterCan or Agrocont, it is used to control the markers (please refer to the appropriate
manuals).
The markers’ motion speed can be adjusted with the adjustment valve in the front end of the machine.
First adjust the valve to small flow. You need to do this to have easy marker beam movement and to
avoid damage and hazards. Adjust the bottom plate to suitable speed during the actual seeding, when, for
example, the tractor’s operating oil has reached normal temperature.
