Tyco TY-B Series User Manual

AquaFlex Stainless Steel sprinkler Fittings provide fast, easy sprinkler installation in a suspended
ceiling grid with a flexible, stainless steel hose.
System Options:
• Braided and unbraided flexible stainless steel hose in lengths:
31, 48, 60, 72"/790, 1220, 1525, 1830 mm
• Branch line nipples for attaching to rigid pipe.
• ½ and ¾"/15 and 20 mm straight and 90º reducers for connecting sprinklers.
• FM Approved patent-pending, light-weight pre-assembled, ready-to-install 1-Bee

mounting bracket available in 24 and 48" widths. 24" width bracket is also cULus Listed.
• Institutional bracket for wall or ceiling installations also available (see Submittal
Publication 10.88).
• Optional pre-assembled systems with factory-installed sprinkler heads available. In these
systems, sprinkler connections are leak-tested by Victaulic. Contact Victaulic for sprinkler
model availabilty.

bracket allows complete lateral alignment of
sprinklers during installation. The bracket provides center points and reference marks 6" and
12"/152 mm and 304 mm from the tile edge (on the 24" bracket) for ease of positioning without
need for measuring.
The system requires no welding for assembly.
The braided 1" nominal diameter system is FM Approved for T-Bar Grid commercial suspended
ceilings and metal or wood frame sheetrock suspended ceilings. The unbraided
