4.3 Using the Management Option
The Management menu allows you to set the device user name and password.
To access the management menu:
1. Click Cable Modem from the main menu.
2. Click Management from the left side menu.
The Password screen allows you to change the username and password for the
EVW32C. Field descriptions are listed below the screen example.
DHCP Displays whether DHCP is completed.
Time of Day Displays whether the time of day is completed.
Download CM Config
File
Displays the name of the configuration file and if download was completed
or not.
Registration Displays whether device registration is completed.
EAE Status
Displays whether EAE (Early Authentication Encryption) is enabled or
disabled.
BPI Status Displays whether BPI (Baseline Privacy Interface) is enabled or disabled.
Label Description
Username Enter the new username.
Old Password Enter the old password.
New Password Enter the new password.
Retype the Password Confirm the new password by retyping it here.
Apply Saves changes.
