FILLING THE OIL TANK:
The generator is supplied without oil. Please check the average room temperature and fill in the types of
oil from the following list:
< 30 °C SAE15 W 40 API CF DIESEL OIL
Filling quantity: 1.65 L
IMPORTANT:
The electric generator has a protection against lack of oil. When the oil level is too low, the machine can not be started.
Always check the oil level before each use.
BATTERY FOR ELECTRIC STARTING
The battery is included in the product!
• Check the battery every 3 months!
• Charge and check the battery while it is mounted.
• If you do not use an ATS automation system, remove the connection cable and insulate the contacts carefully to avoid
a short circuit.
WHEN THE GENERATOR IS NOT USED FOR A LONG TIME
If you do not use an ATS automation system, do not use the generator and keep it stored, remove the battery and store
it in a safe and dry place (for example, during the winter in the boiler room).
FILLING OF FUEL
Never fill up with the machine running.
After use let the machine cool down for at least 5 minutes before filling.
FUEL: DIESEL
• Never smoke near the machine or the fuel.
• Never refuel near sparks, flames or fire.
• It is important to remove all cables.
• Remove the filler cap.
• Pour the fuel carefully into the filler nozzle.
• Never fill the tank above the top of the fuel filter.
• Put the cap back on the filler nozzle.
• Clean all the fuel spilled on the surface.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR STARTING UP
Due to voltage fluctuations that may occur, electronic equipment such as hi-fi devices, televisions and computers
should not be connected, as they may be damaged.
• Place the machine on a level surface. Do not place the machine on a metal surface.
• Do not place the machine exposed to strong sunlight. Do not expose the machine at a temperature higher than 40°C.
Do not store the machine in a humid environment.
• Before use, first make sure that the load to be connected has a power lower than the generator output.
• Connect the load only when the generator is running at full speed.
• Disconnect the loads before turning on the generator.
• Do not connect any other power source to the machine. Do not connect the machine to the home mains without
consulting a qualified electrician.
• Turn off the generator immediately under the following conditions:
- With abnormal engine operation.
- With reduction of the output electric power.
- With overheating of the connected electrical load.
- With excessive vibration in the generator.
- Sparks formation.
- In case of smoke or fire.
• Make sure the generator has enough fuel before connecting the load.
• Do not refill the fuel while the engine is running. After use the machine, let it cool at least 5 minutes before filling.
• Avoid touching hot parts of the machine.
• Do not store fuel near the machine.
• The muffler acts at the post-combustion process and the air filter as an air feeder to level the combustion. Therefore,
make sure that these parts are installed correctly and that they are in a technically perfect condition.
