INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning and maintenance is essential for proper operation and long life of the equipment.
Never smoke while doing the tasks listed. Never work near sparks, flames or open fire.
REGULAR TASKS OF MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
AIR FILTER
The air filter should be cleaned every 50 hours of operation.
- Loosen the screws of the maintenance cover (Fig. D).
- Remove the cover (Fig. D).
- Remove the air filter (Fig. E).
- Clean the filter with alcohol or ethanol (Fig. E).
- Sprinkle and press the air filter with a little oil (Fig. F).
- Replace the filter cartridge and housing (Fig. F).
FUEL FILTER
- Remove the fuel tank cap.
- Clean the filter with alcohol or ethanol.
- Dry the filter with a soft cloth.
- Replace the filter in the filler nozzle.
- Replace the cap in the filler nozzle.
OIL CHANGE
- Let the engine run until it is hot. Then, turn it off.
- Unscrew the filler cap.
- Remove the drain plug and put the used oil in a suitable container.
- Inspect the joints and, if necessary, replace them.
- Tighten the drain plug and fill with new oil.
- Screw the filling screw again.

SYMPTOM
THE ENGINE WILL NOT START.
EL GENERADOR NO FUNCIONA
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Fuel is not enough.
The fuel nozzle cannot inject fuel or
there is not enough fuel.
The speed control lever is not in the
"RUN" position.
Inappropriate amount of lubricant
The fuel nozzle is dirty.
The circuit breaker is not closed.
The rated speed of the generator
cannot be reached.
The carbon brush wears out.
AVR does not regulate correctly.
ACTIONS
Add fuel.
Remove the fuel injector and replace
it.
Turn the speed control lever to the
"RUN" position.
The level of the specified oil must be
between the upper level "H" and the
lower one "L"
Clean the fuel nozzle.
Put the circuit breaker in the "ON"
position.
Adjust it according to the
requirements.
Change the carbon brush.
Change the AVR.
