11.1 AUTO Setting
Based on input signals, Auto Setting selects appropriate time-based scale, Volt/Divs,
trigger based to display waveform on the screen automatically. Press AUTO to enter
automatic setting.
AUTO Setting is only applicable to conditions below:
1) AUTO Setting is only applicable to signals with simple and single frequency. AUTO
Setting is not effective for those complicated waveform.
2) The frequency of measured signal is not less than 20Hz, and the amplitude is not
less than 30mVpp.

11.2 RUN/STOP
RUN/STOP button is on the front panel of DSO. When this button is pressed and a green
indicator lights up, your oscilloscope is in a running status, if a red light comes on after
pressing this button, it indicates the unit has stopped operation. In running status, the DSO
consecutively collects waveform and the screen displays “AUTO”, while in stopping status,
the DSO stops collecting waveform and the screen displays “STOP”. Press RUN/STOP to
switch between stopping and running.
