Editing or Erasing a Phonebook Entry
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press phonebook.
2) Press volume up/down, or the number keypad to select the phonebook entry you
want to edit or delete. (see "Viewing the Phonebook" on page 46).
a. Editing the Stored Data
1) When the phonebook entry to be edited appears, press the EDIT soft key. For the
handset,then select
Edit?
.
Store/Edit Name
appears.
2) Follow the steps 3 to 7 under "Phonebook (Storing Phone Numbers, Names,
Distinctive Rings, and Speed Dial)" on pages 42-43 to complete the editing
operation.
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
b. Deleting the Stored Data
1) When the phonebook entry to be deleted appears,
press the DELETE soft key on the base or the EDIT soft
key on the handset. For the handset, then select
Delete?
.
Delete Memory?
appears.
2) Press volume up/down to move the pointer to
Yes
.
3) Press the OK soft key. You hear a confirmation tone.
Deleted!
appears in the display.
