3. Locate the CD-ROM drive and go to folder:
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU121 (when updating MPU121)
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU112 (when updating MPU112) or
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU111 (when updating MPU111).
Click the update.exe and click Open. Click OK.
4. A command line window opens and the text "Enter the
hostname or the IP address of the updated Embedded PC" is
displayed. Type the IP address of the
MPU121/MPU112/MPU111 and press Enter. The default IP
address for the MPU121/MPU112/MPU111 is 192.168.0.20.
5. For the question "Verify previous update?" Press n and ENTER.
6. Files are transferred and the unit is restarted. Update via LAN
will take approximately 5 minutes. When update is completed,
the text "Vaisala Embedded Software Update complete" is
displayed. Press any key and the window will close.
7. Switch the SPS311 power off and on again to complete the
update.
It is recommended that the update is verified. See the next paragraph
Verifying the MPU121/MPU112/MPU111 Software Update.
Verifying the MPU121/MPU112/MPU111
Software Update
After the MPU121/MPU112/MPU111 software is updated, the update
can be verified as follows:
1. Switch on the Sounding Workstation and the SPS311 and wait
until the system is ready for operation.
2. Place the Update CD into the CD-ROM drive of the
workstation.
3. Select Start, select Run and click the Browse button. Locate
the CD-ROM drive and go to folder:
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU121 (for MPU121)
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU112 (for MPU112) or
<CD-ROM drive>\MPU111 (for MPU111).
Click the update.exe and click Open. Click OK.
4. A window opens. The question "Enter the hostname or the IP-
address of the updated Embedded PC?" is displayed. Write the
IP-address of the MPU121/MPU112/MPU111 and press
ENTER. The default IP address for the unit is 192.168.0.20.
