Using the Auto Mode button configure the operation as required:
Download Method: choose between Fast and Robust
Robust transfer is ~50% slower than Fast but will attempt to recover the file download process if
connection is lost between the SWiFT and Ocean.
Select the file types and their location: Select which file format(s) you would like the
automatically down loaded file to be exported in and their destination.
Winch Control: SWiFT can be operated in an autonomous mode with a winch – set up as
required. Please contact Valeport for further information
Once the required settings are programmed click . The SWiFT is now ready to deploy
(check it isn’t in sleep mode) and will reconnect and download the datafile on recovery. The
Ocean main page changes to indicate you are in Auto Mode:
Click the button to return to normal mode.
